Wyoming is a growing second ring suburb of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis/St. Paul, blending a small town atmosphere with the energy and excitement of growth. The surrounding lakes and nature preserves coupled with easy interstate access enhance Wyoming residents’ opportunity to enjoy a diverse quality of life.
On behalf of the entire Wyoming Elementary staff, I am pleased to welcome you and encourage you to be involved in your child’s education at home and in school. Wyoming Elementary was built in 1989, and has an enrollment of 636 students, 53 full time staff, 44 part time and support staff, and averages approximately 40 volunteers and visitors each day. We are a microcosm of the community. "Preparing Your Children, Securing Their Future", is a slogan that reflects our attitude and commitment for the success of our children. Whether it is the daily rich curriculum, School Age Child Care, Community Mentoring program, Extended Day opportunities, Parent-Teacher Scholarship, or any one of a number of other programs, we strive to create a safe, caring environment for children to learn.
